A tennis fan was caught red handed while trying to steal something from the No. 1 player in the world at the 2025 US Open.

Following Jannik Sinner’s fourth round win over Alexander Bublik on Monday, September 1, the Italian tennis star stopped to sign some autographs for fans courtside inside Arthur Ashe Stadium.

In a video shared by Olly Tennis via X, a man was seen attempting to unzip Sinner’s racket bag, which was slung over his shoulder.

A security guard immediately swooped in and prevented the fan from grabbing anything as Sinner, who noticed the man’s attempted theft, scurried off the court.
