DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A ferret named Fettuccine from the Scovill Zoo visited the WAND news studio on September 3.
Fettuccine has a brother named Alfredo. Fettuccine is 4 months old. They are used as ambassadors for the zoo. While people do keep ferrets as pets, the zoo asks people to do their research. They live for about five to seven years.
The Scovill Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
