HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Hamilton County Commission has made some leadership changes.
Ken Smith is now the Commission’s chairman after being the Vice Chair.
Jeff Eversole had been the chairman for the previous two years.
The chairman of the commission runs the meetings along with helping determine what resolutions get placed on the agenda.
Chairman Smith thanked Commissioner Eversole for his leadership as chairman.
“I know the amount of work that goes into this particular position of serving it in a different role, and it’s a lot more than what most people realize. Day in and day out, just the little bit you’ve shared with me recently, you realize how much more there is to it,” Smith said.
Lee Helton is now the vice Chair of the Commission.
