Today, Lush shut down its U.K. stores and website for 24 hours in a statement of solidarity with Gaza. The British personal-care company, which is best known for its bath bombs and distinctive scents, also ceased production in its factories for the day. If you visit any of the physical stores, banners that read “Stop starving Gaza” and “We are closed in solidarity” hang from the windows, and the website features the same message.

“Across the Lush business we share the anguish that millions of people feel seeing the images of starving people in Gaza, Palestine,” the company said in a statement. “Like the rest of the world, we struggle to find ways we can help whilst the Israeli government is preventing urgent humanitarian assistance from entering Gaza.”
