LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – University of Kentucky running back Jamarion Wilcox appeared in court Wednesday in connection with domestic and interpersonal violence allegations.

Court documents show the victim now has a no-contact order, and Wilcox is prohibited from coming within 500 feet of the person in the order. The case stems from an incident last month, when Wilcox was accused of inappropriately touching a person without their consent.

A temporary restraining order has also been filed against the sophomore running back. UK head coach Mark Stoops previously confirmed Wilcox is suspended from the football program for a violation of team rules.

A hearing in the case is scheduled for November 3 at 9 a.m.
