Someone could become the winner of the sixth-largest lottery jackpot in history on Wednesday night.
The Powerball jackpot is at $1.4 billion as of Wednesday afternoon, with an estimated cash value of $634.3 million.
There have been no Powerball winners all summer, with the last $204.5 million jackpot prize won on May 31 in California.
This is the largest jackpot in the game since April 6, 2024, when a $1.326 billion jackpot was won on a ticket sold in Oregon. It’s also the fourth-largest in game history, and sixth-largest in lottery history.
The Monday drawing for the $1.1 billion jackpot will be held at 10:59 p.m., and tickets can be purchased until 9:50 p.m. Monday at Mass Lottery retailers across the state.
