Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz made a major life announcement along with his wife, Heather.

The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. Grey Matthew Kuntz was born on August 5, they announced in an Instagram post. Married last year, the pair are now starting a family.

Multiple Steelers players and staff congratulated Kuntz under the post. He and center Zach Frazier have each become dads in the past month.

A native of Pittsburgh, Kuntz is playing for his hometown team after playing football at Duquesne. He now gets to raise his family in the same city he grew up in. Kuntz played at Chartiers Valley High School before attending Duquesne as an outside linebacker, not a long snapper.
