Rough go for Reeves.

Keanu Reeves suffered a gruesome onset injury — and it shockingly wasn’t from an action film. The actor opened up about his “Good Fortune” accident in a Hollywood Reporter interview that published Wednesday.

“I snapped my kneecap vertically, like a potato chip. As the pain was coming up, I was like, ‘Oh f–k. This is not good. This is quite bad,'” Reeves, 61, told the outlet. “There was a lot of blood.”

The comedy follows an angel named Gabriel (Reeves) who meddles in the lives of a struggling worker (Aziz Ansari) and a rich venture capitalist (Seth Rogen). Keke Palmer also stars.

“It still feels like something from ‘The Studio,’” Ansari, 42, confessed, referring to Rogen’s Apple TV+ comedy in the joint interview. 9
