The Trump administration's changes to COVID-19 vaccine guidance and a delayed vaccine advisory meeting is making it more difficult for people to get the shots at pharmacies in Washington, D.C., Virginia and 12 other states. Pharmacies in three other states can't give the vaccines to anyone, according to CVS.

Last week, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved new COVID shots for the fall — but only for people 65 and older as well as for kids and adults with at least one medical condition that puts them at risk of severe illness.
