As Chicagoans prepare for Mexican Independence Day celebrations, the possibility of enhanced ICE enforcement actions remains on everyone's minds.

The annual Mexican Independence Day parade in Pilsen steps off Saturday at noon, and Ventura made some changes to his 18th restaurant, QuesaBirria Jalisco Tacos in light of the Trump administration's discussions of sending more federal immigration agents to Chicago this month.
"I put this little wall up here with a door so nobody can see the kitchen or enter the kitchen. It used to be all wide open and you could see everything," he said. "I just want everybody to feel comfortable. Right now everybody is on edge,"
