SAN MARCOS, Calif. (FOX5/KUSI)-- The Water Technology Education program at Palomar College is receiving a little help from its friends on the national level to support water technician and training programs at the college.

The college announced Wednesday that it received a $471,000 Advanced Technological Education (ATE) grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), which will go towards its Tomorrow’s Water Technicians Project over the next three years.

The project aims to develop and test new approaches related to water technician education and training.
