PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is set to spend more than a decade behind bars in connection with the sexual assault of a Phoenix woman he didn’t know inside her own home late last year.

On Wednesday, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office announced that 35-year-old Jeremy Naltazan was recently sentenced to 13 years in prison after he previously pleaded guilty to one count of sex assault and one count of attempted sexual assault, both felonies.

Just before 10 p.m. one night in December 2024, a 67-year-old woman who lives in the area of 32nd Street and Thomas Road heard a knock on her door. She looked through the window and saw a man she didn’t recognize who asked her if he could use her phone.

She told the man no and called 911. But while she was on the phone with dispatchers, prosecutors
