RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - It’s been a busy summer at the Allianz Amphitheater, with dozens of artists and even a few sold out shows.

Many of those concert-goers in need of somewhere to park are choosing to leave their cars in Oregon Hill.

“It’s crowded all over the neighborhood,” resident Cameron Fisher said.

People living in the area told 12 On Your Side the parking pain is real.

“If I have friends over the same day as the concert, I’ll tell them they need to come two to three hours earlier because it starts to fill up really quick,” Fisher said.

Two separate people said they made adjustments to their everyday lives to avoid the issue.

“I’ve had to add events to my work calendar to make sure I get home on time,” resident Chris Hughes said.
