PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT)—Construction on the new casino in Petersburg continues, but the help-wanted signs are already up.

If you’re considering a career switch, a new casino dealer school may be just the thing to roll the dice on.

The Live! Petersburg Casino Resort is partnering with Richard Bland College to host the 12-week course at 3333 Crater Rd., Ste. 4A at the Pinehill Plaza starting Sept. 8.

“We have hundreds who are enrolled right now,” said Brian Dwaileebe, the director for table games.

Open houses are being held through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for people interested in learning more. Folks can also purchase a blackjack kit for $50.
