For the second straight season, all five of the University of Maine’s five home football games will be televised on WVII ABC Channel 7 and WFVX Fox 22 Bangor.
The slate of home games this fall begins with the Sept. 13 contest against Stonehill.
“As a local broadcaster, I have great pride broadcasting the Maine home football games,” said Mike Palmer, the general manager at WVII/WFVX.
WVII/WFVX is in a partnership with Van Wagner, which oversees the UMaine athletic department’s sponsorships and multimedia rights.
The networks usually televised three of the home games each year but for the first time in their 12-year arrangement, they carried all five last fall.
