BROOK PARK, Ohio (WJW) - The FOX 8 I-Team has found the Browns are not stopping their plans for a dome and not changing the design despite a battle over a permit to build near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Wednesday, a lawyer for the Browns spoke to the I-Team, and the airport director spoke as well in a closed door briefing with no cameras allowed.

The Ohio Department of Transportation denied the Browns a permit after the city of Cleveland raised concerns. The city argues the height of the dome would be a danger to air traffic.

Yet, the FAA said there would be no hazard.

Kenneth Quinn, a lawyer with Clyde and Co. representing the Browns in this, said, "the FAA looked at it for over a year. They determined there'd be no hazard. Safety is foremost in our mind."
