MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A western Kentucky man is accused of beating a man with a ratchet, forcing him into a trunk and then dumping him and leaving him.

Corban Koster, 18, of Paducah, was charged with three felonies, including kidnapping - adult, first-degree assault and first-degree robbery.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, they were dispatched to the 7000 block of Noble Road on August 30 for a welfare check.

Deputies found a man covered in blood and walking down the road. They say he appeared to have been assaulted.

The man was taken to an area hospital.
