KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - An early downpour, then some clouds with more rain by sunrise in spots. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s. Winds will be southwest at 5 mph.

A FEW STRONG STORMS THURSDAY AFTERNOON: Some early morning rain, then midday sun, then scattered storms in the afternoon through early evening. A few storms could be severe with high wind or hail. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Winds will be southwest at 10-20 mph.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy and warmer. Highs will reach the upper 80s with lows in the 60s.

SATURDAY: Rain is likely in the morning as cold front #2 moves through the area. Mostly cloudy with a passing downpour still possible in the afternoon with highs in the upper 70s to around 80 and lows around 60.

SUNDAY: Sunny and dry with highs around 80
