We are tracking hot weather for the end of the work week. Temperatures will peak in the mid to upper 90s for Thursday and Friday, as a southwest wind persists during the day across the viewing area. Rain chances will be around for the weekend, as a cold front begins to sweep across the region late Friday into Saturday. Sunday will bring limited rain chances, even as high pressure begins to build into the region. Drier weather takes over for Monday and much of next week.

Tonight, expect a mostly clear sky and temperatures down to the upper 60s.
