AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo College Badgers volleyball defeated the Lamar Community College Lopes by way of sweep (3-0) on Wednesday.

The Badgers got off to a hot start, winning the first set by (what would be) their largest margin of the night, 25-17.

After the Lopes came out firing in the second set, it took AC a little while to rally back, but started to pull away later to take it 25-17.

With the sweep in sights, the Badgers went to work, and took the third and final set of the night 25-18.

Jaelynn Jackson led the group with a team-high 10 kills.

It was a group effort on the passing between London Baker (21 assists) and Madeline Lentz (19 assists).
