LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (KFDA) - The Arkansas Travelers defeated the Amarillo Sod Poodles by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday.

For the second straight road loss, the Sod Poodles were able to produce more team hits, but not enough runs to come out on top.

J.J. D’Orazio led Amarillo at the plate going 2-4 and scoring the Sod Poodles lone run.

Manuel Pena, Ryan Waldschmidt, Gavin Conticello, Ben McLaughlin, Jack Hurley and Jean Walters were the remaining batters who each notched a single hit.

Jose Cabrera gets tagged with the loss on the mound, now 8-6 overall this year. In 5.1 innings, he allowed five hits for three runs and tallied two strikeouts.

With the loss, Arkansas retains control of the series now leading it 2-0.
