Ottawa police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery that took place on August 3. According to a media release issued on Wednesday, the incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. at a store located in the 2000 block of Bank Street.
The suspects entered the store and began stealing items. When confronted by store staff, one of the suspects displayed a weapon, prompting both individuals to flee the scene on bicycles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Police have provided descriptions of the suspects. The first suspect is an Indigenous man with a medium build and black hair. He has multiple tattoos on his arms and hands and was last seen wearing black cargo pants and black shoes. The second suspect is described as an Indigenous woman, also with a medium build and black hair, who was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt at the time of the robbery.
