Ottawa police seek two suspects in Bank Street robbery

The theft occurred in a store in the 2000 block of Bank Street on Aug. 3, police said.

Ottawa police say they’re seeking public assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery on Aug. 3. Article content

A media release on Wednesday said the duo entered a store in the 2000 block of Bank Street at about 3:55 p.m. and began stealing items. When confronted by staff in the store, one suspect brandished a weapon before they both left the area on bicycles. Article content Article content

No injuries were reported.

The media release identified on suspect as as an Indigenous man with a medium build and black hair with multiple tattoos on his arms and hands. He was wearing black cargo pants and black shoes.
