FARGO — Millions of sports fans this week are sitting in their living rooms, office cubicles and local bars in preparation for a fall ritual: fantasy football.
In Fargo-Moorhead, one group of men has been picking players for 35 years. So long that their children are now getting in on the action.
One of Fargo-Moorhead's longest-running fantasy football leagues, started in 1990, gathered in a cozy corner at Buffalo Wild Wings in Moorhead for a football fan's dream: chips and queso, chicken strips, and draft night.
"Just doing research, looking at different players, trying to figure out who you want," said Chris Schulz, a league member.
For Robb Schobinger, another league member, it's an annual routine.
