LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man was sentenced after sexually assaulting a woman last year.

A Lancaster County judge sentenced 44-year-old Jason Frost to eight to 10 years in prison for attempted first-degree sexual assault.

Court records show Frost was charged with first-degree sexual assault, but the charge was lowered as part of a plea deal in July.

Lincoln Police arrested 44-year-old Jason Frost on Dec. 3, 2024, following a report of a sexual assault.

The incident, reported Dec. 1, involved a 31-year-old woman who was sleeping when she was assaulted in her home by Frost. The assault woke the woman, and she yelled at Frost until he fled the residence.
