PHILADELPHIA − It's not surprising to Landon Dickerson's Eagles teammates that he has been cleared to play three weeks after having knee surgery to repair his meniscus.

But the knee wasn't the only thing that could have gotten in the way of Dickerson being ready to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.
