COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - After Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) released video of a bear they found in a neighborhood on Tuesday on social media, one resident says she grabbed her dog, and she found the bear on her fence.

“The fact that I had to come grab my dog quickly, and I realized he was right there, was crazy. I almost had my kids out...Keep running through that...a bear, literally running through my yard, and what could’ve happened,” said neighbor Whitney Morales.

CPW says the bear was found taking a nap inside another neighbor’s yard. That’s when they then had to follow it through five people’s yards before finally running it up a tree, and tranquilizing it. Wildlife officers say they safely relocated the bear back into the wild.
