COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Wednesday, people who are concerned their loved ones may be among the decomposing remains found at a Southern Colorado funeral home gathered in Pueblo.

Multiple law firms, including one that said they’re representing victims, held the forum, as CBI continues its investigation into Davis Mortuary.

Until families get the answers they’re searching for, the attorneys told 11 News they hope to ease their minds by sharing the potential process of this case and providing mental health resources for those struggling with the news.

“Pueblo’s a small, tight-knit community, and I think people just feel terrible that their loved ones’ remains may have been mishandled,” James Koncilja, an attorney in Pueblo, said.
