ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers just keeps making headlines. For the third month in a row, she’s been named WNBA Rookie of the Month, a first in Wings history and only the 10th player in league history to pull off the feat.
Bueckers dominated August, leading all rookies in scoring and assists. She averaged 20.3 points and 5.0 assists over 10 games, ranking fourth in scoring across the entire league. Her shooting was on fire too, hitting 49.7 percent from the field and 93.6 percent from the free-throw line, while adding nearly four rebounds and over a steal per game.
