MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The state legislature is showing off its temporary home for public hearings over the next year while the Legislative Office Building undergoes renovations and an HVAC overhaul.
The House of Representatives has moved its hearing rooms about a mile up the road in Concord to state office space at 1 Granite Place.
Officials said the focus is on ensuring people have a chance to see their government in action.

"Open access. Anytime there's a public hearing, any kind of meetings here that are open to the public, the building will be open and ready for them to attend," said Terry Pfaff, chief operation officer of the New Hampshire General Court.
