GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Grandville Calvin Christian Schools unveiled a newly renovated high school Wednesday evening.
The $11.5 million renovation was part of the school’s larger $18 million “From One Generation to the Next” campaign. Updates include a new state-of-the-art weight room, an upgraded science wing with three labs, a education support center and a new front entrance designed with enhanced security measures.
“It was time for an upgrade to the facilities and our science classrooms needed to be brought up to the 21st century,” Head of School Eric Burgess said. “And we wanted to upgrade certainly our safety on this campus.”
Community members, alumni and students joined school leaders for a dedication ceremony before touring the facility. For some, the project is especially pe
