PORT ARTHUR, Texas — State Rep. Christian Manuel has announced he will seek another term representing District 22, saying his top priority remains serving the people of Southeast Texas.
Manuel, a Democrat from Port Arthur now serving his second term, confirmed his decision in a Facebook post. He highlighted his record of securing millions in state funding and expanding services in mental health, safety and community care. “There’s a lot of work left to be done, a lot of work that I can still do for the community,” Manuel said in an interview with 12News.
