At San Isidro High School, 17-year-old Estrella Martinez does it all.
Estrella is currently ranked second in her class. She serves as student council president, FCCLA vice president, is a member of the National Honor Society, and competes in UIL academics.
“Since elementary or middle school, I’ve always wanted to be involved in things,” Estrella said. “I prefer being busy than being sitting down and not doing anything. You can ask my parents, you can ask my siblings, anybody around the school they're going to be like ‘yeah she's very active in everything.’"
Outside the classroom, Estrella shines in volleyball, cross-country, and as cheer captain.
