BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Jackrabbits defense was dominating in the season opener Saturday in Brookings, shutting down Sacramento State 20-3.
Chas Mason and the offense produced 4 scores which was more than enough for the guys on the other side of the ball.
But they face a much tougher test this week when they travel to Montana State in what should be one of the best regular season games in the FCS.
Dan Jackson, SDSU Football Coach says, “I’ve played these guys a couple of times, been out there and our staff has experience with this team that we’re going to play and they’re a phenomenal football team and have a great fan base so we’re excited for the challenge. I love how the schedule it set up for the entire season.”
