Powerball players in Oregon could win up to $1.4 billion, the fourth largest jackpot in game history.

Oregon made headlines in 2024 when a couple and their friend won $1.3 billion . A Beaverton man in January won $328.5 million.

The Powerball jackpot has been growing since the last win and reset on June 1.

The next drawing will be held at 8 p.m. Sept. 3.

The largest Powerball jackpot of $2.04 billion was won in 2022 by California player.

About a third of sales are returned to the state, totaling about $16.5 billion since the Oregon Lottery began selling Powerball tickets in 1985. Retailers also earn a commission for selling a winning ticket.
