RONCEVERTE, W.Va. — The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s office said a Florida woman was the victim in a murder investigation and a local man was found severely injured at the scene.

Greenbrier County deputies responded to a call at a home near Ronceverte in the early morning hours on Wednesday just after midnight. They first encountered a man in his vehicle who was initially cooperative, but refused to get out of his truck and eventually sped away. One Deputy gave chase and with the assistance of Lewisburg. Ronceverte, and White Sulphur Springs Police was able to finally get the man stopped and after a scuffle which involved a taser into custody at the Shell gas station in Fairlea, W.Va.

He’s identified as Michael Loudermilk, 42, of Greenbrier County.
