LYNCHBURG — A Lynchburg grand jury indicted a woman Tuesday on charges of felony homicide and murder in the death of her 5-month-old son.
Endia Walker, 23, of Lynchburg, was arrested April 3 in connection with the death of the baby. The child was found dead at a home in the 600 block of Leesville Road on March 26, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.
The murder charge states that between Oct. 29, 2024, and March 26, Walker "did kill and murder" the child "by starvation or by any willful, deliberate, and premeditated killing.” Along with the felony homicide and murder charges, the grand jury indicted Walker on one felony charge of child abuse or neglect causing serious injury and three felony charges of child endangerment.
