CLEVELAND, Ohio — The dreams of becoming a billionaire can continue for millions of Powerball players, but a ticket in Ohio came close to winning it all.

There was no overall winner in the Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, drawing for a $1.4 billion prize, allowing the jackpot to increase to an estimated $1.7 billion for the Saturday, Sept. 6 drawing.

The winning numbers are 3-16-29-61-69 Powerball 22 Power Play 2x.

The $1.7 billion prize would be the third largest in Powerball history, trailing only a $1.765 billion prize won on Oct. 11, 2023, and a $2.04 billion prize won on Nov. 7, 2022. Both tickets were sold in California.

Increased ticket sales make it likely that Saturday’s jackpot will move into second place.
