JAMESTOWN — The University of Jamestown men’s soccer team enters the 2025 season with plenty of new faces in a new NCAA Division II landscape.
This season, the Jimmies have 24 newcomers including first-year head coach Justin Gilfert.
After being hired on Jan. 16 as the sixth head coach in program history, Gilfert said he has been very busy recruiting and building the team.
“It’s definitely been a quick turnaround, especially from January to starting the preseason two weeks ago to kicking off the regular season,” Gilfert said. “But this is what I do for my life, I love to do it. I love being outside and love being around the game.
