Another “very pleasant” day of weather is on tap for Massachusetts on Thursday, with slightly below normal temperatures in the morning giving way to sunshine and a few clouds by the afternoon.
Temperatures should reach the low 80s and high 70s by the afternoon, with a southerly wind keeping communities along the shoreline closer to the mid-70s.
The next chance for precipitation comes overnight into early Friday morning, with scattered showers possible. The most likely areas to see rain are Western Massachusetts and northeast Connecticut. There is a low likelihood of thunderstorms, National Weather Service forecasters wrote.
After the overnight showers, Friday is shaping up to be largely dry.
