GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Eastown Street Fair is planned to kick off this Saturday, Sept. 6, with fun for the whole family.
The 52nd annual event is planned from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. along Wealthy Street, between Giddings and Lake Drive, Ethel Street, and the HUB Lot.
The Eastown Community Association (ECA) launched the Street Fair in 1973. The free event has been growing in popularity ever since.
For this year’s festivities, there will be 150 local artisans and food vendors, live music from Michigan-based bands, and a large pig roast courtesy of Harmony Brewing Company.
