Royal Oak Schools have appointed Joe Youanes as deputy superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Youanes into this vital role,” said Superintendent John Tafelski. “His dedication to students and his collaborative approach to leadership will strengthen our work as a district and further our commitment to excellence.”

“It is an honor to serve the Royal Oak Schools community in this capacity,” said Youanes.

“I look forward to working alongside our educators, students, and families to support learning, equity, and innovation across the district.”

He was named as Executive Director for curriculum and instruction in September 2022.
