The composers behind Sentimental Value , Mickey 17 and The Brutalist are among the second wave of nominees for the 25 th edition of the World Soundtrack Awards (WSA).
The winners will be announced on October 15 at the WSA ceremony and concert, held during Film Fest Gent in Belgium.
Hania Rani ( Sentimental Value ), Jung Jae-il ( Mickey 17 ) and Daniel Blumberg ( The Brutalist ) are all nominated in discovery of the year alongside Robin Carolan ( Nosferatu ) and Dave Metzger ( Mufasa: The Lion King ). Blumberg is also nominated in the previously announced film composer of the year category and won the Oscar for best original score back in March.
