Catherine, Princess of Wales (aka Kate Middleton ) is sporting blonder hair!

This is a huge change for the 43-year-old royal, as she’s never gone this blonde before during her life in the public eye.

She and her husband, Prince William , paid a visit to the Natural History Museum on Thursday (September 4) in London, England, where they visited the gardens on the grounds. They did get caught in a sudden rainstorm, but got to sit inside as well and meet with some children and discuss the museum’s programs.

This is also the Prince and Princess’ first joint appearance after their summer break.

It looks like the Princess did lighten her hair a few weeks ago at this point , but because this was her first official appearance in weeks, this is the first we’re seeing it!
