RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) — A dog is now getting treatment at the Pet Resource Center after it was found dumped on the side of a Ruskin road with their feet tied together.

According to Hillsborough County, animal control responded to a report on Wednesday that someone tied a dog's front legs together and back legs together before dropping it off on the side of the road in the Ruskin area.

The dog managed to get its front feet free and get itself to a nearby house, where the owner called and reported it.

Animal control is asking anyone who recognizes the dog or knows anything to call.
