PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A “Top Gun: Maverick” star portrays an embattled former Oregon Duck in the trailer for a comedy series slated to drop later this month.

Hulu revealed the trailer for “Chad Powers,” starring Glen Powell, over the weekend. The new comedy centers on a fictional University of Oregon quarterback whose career went downhill when he dropped the ball — literally — during a Rose Bowl game against the University of Georgia.

Powell stars as Russ Holiday, according to Deadline. The protagonist dons a disguise while seeking a second chance of sports stardom by attending South Georgia tryouts eight years later. In the trailer, he refers to the scheme as “Mrs. Doubtfire, but with football.”
