A "serious crash" near the Minneapolis-Golden Valley border has led to the closure of Highway 55 in both directions on Thursday morning.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation made the announcement just after 9 a.m., noting the crash occurred on the highway between Morgan Avenue North in Minneapolis and Theodore Wirth Parkway in Golden Valley.
