The 24-year-old motorcyclist killed in a collision with a car Tuesday evening in Salisbury Township has been identified by authorities.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as Brandon C. Gehris of Northampton Borough. Gehris was pronounced dead at 12:44 a.m. Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in the township.

Gehris died from multiple blunt force injuries and the death was ruled accidental by Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.

The collision happened just after 11 p.m. along South Cedar Crest Boulevard at Fish Hatchery Road. It also involved a 2019 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 28-year-old woman from Salisbury, police said.
