The Fairbanks Arts Association is hosting a collaborative art show with Calypso Farm and Ecology Center in the Bear Gallery this September.

The First Friday opening reception is 5-7 p.m. Friday. The exhibits will be on display through Sept. 27 in the Bear Gallery on the third floor of the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts in Pioneer Park, 2300 Airport Way. The Bear Gallery is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“Local Color: a community art show highlighting locally grown and harvested color,” features more than 40 Alaskan artists and their creative explorations of locally grown, harvested and found color.
