Calgary police are asking for help from the public to identify a man who set a truck on fire this summer.
Just before midnight on Friday, July 25, reports started coming in about a burning vehicle near 68 Street and 51 Avenue SE.
The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) attended the scene and put out the fire.
CFD’s Arson Unit began an investigation as the fire was deemed suspicious.
Investigators believe a 2017 Dodge Ram was intentionally set on fire using an accelerant.
The suspect is described as between 40 and 60 years old, clean shaven, with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a dark-coloured shirt, and a black and white checkerboard baseball cap.
